How does the Auto Assigner work?
Starting conditions
So how exactly does the Auto Assigner work? Let us go through the basics! You have a CRM in monday.com with different monday.com-boards, one of which is for incoming leads. When you have a new lead, you want to be able to easily assign the lead to the most available team member. This is where the Auto Assigner comes in.
Assigning items
Once a new lead is put into your monday.com-board, the only thing you have to do is go to the status column of said lead and click “assign”.
Assigning order
The Auto Assigner assigns the lead to the person with the least amount of leads already assigned to them. If all team members have the same amount of leads assigned to them, the add-on will pick the person at the top of the team member list.
Unassign (if necessary)
If by any chance the team member who just got assigned a new lead can’t follow through, you can easily go back to the status column of that person and click “unassign”. Then the lead will be assigned to someone else.
